SCREEN PRINTING COLORS: Screen Printing creates graphics on a wide variety of materials one color at a time. This system utilizes individual formulated colors that are matched to the Pantone system or combined into a spectrum of color using 4 color process CYAN MAGENTA YELLOW BLACK
Print Quality: as represented by DPI- dots per inch- this defines the smoothness of your final product- the higher the dot count - ie., 300 vs. 65- the finer the blend. ) this is critical depending on how close you will be looking at the final product.
HEXACHROME: A system of ( 6 ) colors that increase the range of colors and vibrance available from the Four color process system. This process will provide many additional colors, most importantly a range of reds and purples otherwise not available in four color process.
DIGITAL: Utilizes either the 4 color process system, 6 color Hexachrome and even additional colors to increase the vibrance and range of your final product.
METALLIC: Incorporates actual flakes of metal to create- SILVER- GOLD- or a variety of metallic finishes. (Or utilize various substrates that have a metallic finish to increase the realism of your metallic finish- this includes CHROME- STAINLESS- BRUSHED ALUMINUM-BRASS-COPPER and a variety of other custom products. )
FLUORESCENTS: Special pigmented inks offer a definitive vibrance and eye catching pop. Typically available in Green, Pink, Orange or Red, other custom colors available.
GLOW-IN-THE-DARK: Light emitting pigment that captures light and returns it for up to 10 hours.
TRANSPARENTS: Clear colored inks that provide an aesthetic finish to your window or lens. Typically available in Green, Red or Blue, custom colors available. Incorporate to enhance or hide your electronic display.
DEAD FRONT: Backlit inks that come alive when lit and remain hidden when not.
REFLECTIVE: Usually utilized from base material, Reflective inks can be spot added to your product to bounce light and create an instant response.
TEXTURES: CLEAR, MATTE, VELVET. These top coatings will provide an aesthetic, as well as eye locator to your product. Create a clear gloss window and button with a matte textured background for increased cosmetic enhancement.
EMBOSSING: A stamping process that RAISES/LOWERS your plastic overlay in selective areas as defined by your design. RIDGE: A raised line, typically .010- .030 thick that defines a given area for ergonomic location of users finger. PILLOW: A raised cushion, typically .010- .030 high, that softens the users touch upon application. DOME: A raised dome shape that provides a tactile feedback to users finger upon applications.
